Make a lined zipped bag - Beginners plus

Class Description

In this is fantastic class you'll learn how to sew a lined zipped bag or pencil case. You can choose your size and use it as an iPad cover, a wash bag, a pencil case, make up bag or just a multifunctional zipped bag. You'll learn how to sew regular zips, attach a lining to your case/bag and personalize it to your taste. In just 3 hours you'll learn how to sew a totally unique professionally made bag/case. These bags also make a great gifts for loved ones and family. Areas we cover include:

- Cutting fabric

- Attaching regular zips

- Learn to attach and work with linings

- Sewing straight lines and shaped bottom corners

- Finishing seams and reverse stitching

- Decorative stitching (optional)

Is this course right for me?

This class is not suitable for complete beginners. You will need to have used a sewing a machine before and be familar with the basics. Ideally, you would have completed our Sew Simple or Cushion class.

What do I need to bring?

Materials are included in the class. However, if you have favourite fabric, feel free to bring it to the class.

Just to sew things up...

All sewing machines, and equipment are provided. Refreshments and biscuits are included and a glass of wine for all evening classes to help create a seamless atmosphere.
