Conquer zips & buttonholes - Intermediate
Class Description
This is a workshop designed for all people who have used a sewing machine in the past but feel a bit rusty at the moment. Depending of your level, you will be shown all areas that might need some refreshing. You will learn how to sew classic & invisible zippers, make buttonholes, sew darts, learn gathering, using different sewing machine feet and become more familiar with different sewing techniques. You will also have an opportunity to use an ‘Overlocker’ (Serger). Please note that this is not a clothes making class.
Ideally you would have already attended our "Sew simple" or "LayOnMe" cushion class or have some previous experience using a sewing machine.
What do I need to bring?
Nothing! All machines are provided, as well as all the fabric and materials required for this class. Refreshments and biscuits are included and a glass of wine for all evening classes to help create a seamless atmosphere.
