Sewing Classes for Kids & Teenagers
Is your child between 7 and 18 years old and enjoys making things? Then we are sure to have a sewing classe or craft activity that they will love! We run an after school sewing club for kids as well as sewing and craft clubs during the school holidays. We also run separate sewing clubs and classes for budding young fashion designers. What will they make?
Lots of fun projects from: Appliqué cushions, tote bags, pencil cases, buntings, felt greeting cards, stuffed animals, heart key rings, tutu’s, clothes appliqué, felt brooches and clothes (Young Designers only). We are constantly introducing new and different projects to keep our young sewing bees engaged.
What will they learn?
They will have the opportunity to learn a variety of different skills. Depending on their age and ability they will be taught:
- Basic hand stitching, including different type of stitching
- How to use a sewing machine
- How to cut out a simple pattern (Young Designers) only
- Learn about clothes construction (Young Designers) only
- Each class introduces new skills and gives a chance to practice old ones
What is included?
The use of a Janome sewing machine, all fabrics, sewing supplies, scissors, tools and threads needed to complete their projects. Feel free to contact us if you have further questions bookings@sewpretty.me.uk.

Kids Holiday Sewing Club(7-12 yrs old)
We run a kids sewing club during school holidays - this is separate from the after school club.
Half day: £30 (Morning or Afternoon)
Full day: £60 (pack lunch req'd)
After School Sewing Club(7-12 yrs old)
We run an after school sewing club during term time for little sewing bees, every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 16.00 - 17.30.

Young Designers After School Club(13-18 yrs old)
A sewing club just for teens, concentrating on sewing machines, making clothes, using patterns & advanced sewing techniques. Classes every Monday after school.
