Class Description
Are you up for a challenge? Maybe you’ve made so many garments in the past, but never a pair of knickers. Well, one thing is for sure, you don’t have to show them off at work. This is a great sewing class teaching you how to work with knits, lace, elastics, special needles. We will help you master control of those tricky stretchy fabrics. This fun 3 hours sewing project is perfect to do with your girlfriends.
Is this course right for me?
This class is not suitable for beginners. You will need to have a good knowledge of sewing machines and have made simple garments before. Ideally, you would have completed our Sew Capable.
What do I need to bring?
For this class, you will need to bring along:
- Knicker fabric
- - 50cm of 115cm or 140cm wide suitable for lingerie
- - 200cm of stretchy lace trim (width between 2-4cm)
Alternatively, you can buy fabric from us for £5 when booking this course.
Just to sew things up...
All sewing machines, and equipment are provided. Although if you would like to bring your own sewing machine to learn on, you are welcome to. Refreshments and biscuits are included and a glass of wine for all evening classes to help create a seamless atmosphere.
